MONTANA BLUE X SHADOW WORK TATTOOS

Being asked to do a guest spot anywhere always makes me feel honoured. Doing a guest spot with one of your closest friends is nothing short of a pleasure
Tattooing has changes a lot in 2024, in all directions. One change I do love, is people taking what a tattoo studio means and trying to propose something that improves the tattoo experience. Shadow works is one of these spaces.
There is truly nothing quite like it and I'm so glad it exists.
“Safe space” is a phrase that is thrown around a lot when it comes to describing new tattoo studios, however none I have seen have gone so far and done the work it takes to make a space feel truly safe for all. Shadow works isn’t just saying “we are a safe space!!!” It’s making a truly safe space for all and then backing it up with action.
This is a really important space that I know will help carve out a community in tattooing and I'm so excited to watch this place change how we view a tattoo space.

THEY DAY CLASSIC NEVER DIE

While I was cleaning the studio in perpetration for a trip a happens across this camera in a mix of abandoned gear.
This camera was my everyday carry for years and documented everything with it. I felt sad it was just collecting dust in the bottom of a box. So I dusted it down and brought it along for this trip. Didn’t get as much of an opportunity to us it as I would have hoped, but it was fun having this old guy along with me. Felt like old times

HOME COMING ( expanded view …003)

In a works where most people interaction with art is purely digital  I will be forever an advocate for physical items. So with that in mind I wanted to make the third issue of expanded view to be the most interaction zine I could make.
So I teamed up the no way home illustration with a diy bodega model just because.
Hope you have fun with it.

NEON DRIFT

I HAD THE PLEASURE AND HONOUR OF DESIGNING A NEW UNIFORM FOR ELEV8 BMX LONDON.
WE WANTED THE NEW UNIFORM TO BE AN AMALGAMATION OF THE DARK AND LIGHT UNIFORMS FROM THIER LAST SEASON WITH AN INFLUENCE OF THE EAST LONDON"S LIGHTS AT NIGHT.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE  PROJECT FOR ME, IS TO MAKE THE TEAM RIDERS SUPER PROUD TO WEAR THE UNIFORMS AND MAKE THEM STAND OUT IN A FEILD OF OTHER RIDERS.
I WANTED THEM TO FEEL LIKE THEY WERE A MEMBER OF THE T-BIRDS OR A MEMBER OF KOBRA KAI IN THE SKELETON SCENE IN KARATI KID.
AT THE SAME TIME GIVE THE FUTURISTIC FEELING OF THE RIDERS IN TRON.
I THINK IT WAS SUCCESSFUL

I HOPE IT SPEARS THEM ON TO EVEN GREATER WINS.

-WE FLOCK TOGETHER-
